Set up Email Using Outlook Express
Follow the instructions below to configure your new Email Account using the custom domain and email settings provided by Media Suite in Outlook Express.

Step 1
Launch Outlook Express and from the top menu select the "Tools" drop list and choose "Accounts".

In the Accounts Window select the "Add" Button.


Step 3
In the Display Name field type your name or your business name and click the next button to continue.

in the Email Address field type your full email address as provided by Media Suite and click the next button to continue.

In the Mail Logon settings use your full email address as the Account Name and submit the password that was provided to you by Media Suite. Keep the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) UNCHECKED. Click "Next" to continue.


Step 7
Click "Finish" and you are done setting up your incoming mail settings. Now you need to set up your Outgoing mail settings.


Step 8
In the Mail tab you will see your new email account. Select it and choose the "Properties" button to the right to open up the properties window for that account.

Under the Servers Tab be sure that your incoming mail server reads "POP3" and set the incoming mail server (POP3) and the outgoing mail server (SMTP) to the settings provided to you by Media Suite. If you have lost this information please contact Media Suite (in most cases it is: pop.yourdomain.com & smtp.yourdomain.com). Make sure your email and password is displayed under the incoming mail server settings and click the "Remember Password" check bx but be sure the "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is NOT CHECKED.
Lastly CHECK the "My server requires authentication" under Outgoing Mail Server then click the "Advanced" tab to proceed to Step 10.


Step 10
Under the Advanced Tab change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) to 587 and be sure the Incoming Mail (POP3) reads 110. Make sure all check boxes are UNCHECKED in this section. Click "OK".


Step 11
You will be brought back to your Accounts Page. Click "Close" and you will begin to receive email in your new custom account!
