Set up Email Using Microsoft Outlook
Follow the instructions below to configure your new Email Account using the custom domain and email settings provided by Media Suite in the Microsoft Outlook Mail Program.

Step 1
Launch Microsoft Outlook and from the top menu select the "Tools" drop list and select "Email Accounts"


Step 2
In the Accounts Window select the "Add a new e-mail account" radial and click Next.


Step 3
Select the POP3 Radial option under server type and click Next.


Step 4
In the Email Settings window submit your name or your businesses name. In the Email Address field submit your email address as well as the incoming mail server (pop.yourdomain.ca), your outgoing mail server (smtp.yourdomain.ca) and the User Name and Password information as provided to you by Media Suite. If you do not have this information please contact Media Suite. Be sure that the "Log on using secure password authentication (SPA) box is NOT checked. Click the "More Settings" button to continue.
NOTE: Double check that all of the information you have submitted here is accurate. In most cases errors occur in this area due to misspelled or inaccurate information.


Step 5
Under the More Settings window click the "Outgoing Server" tab and select the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and click the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" radial. Then click "Advanced" to continue.


Step 6
Under the "Advanced" tab change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) port to read 587. NOTE: Leave all check boxes UNCHECKED. Your Incoming Server (POP3) should already read 110. If it does not please change to 110. Click "OK" to continue.


Step 7
Now you are brought back to your Email Account Settings window. You may click "Test
Account Settings..." to verify that your settings are working. If successful click "Next" to continue or re-enter your settings if the test fails. Also, confirm that you have an internet connection if your test fails.


Step 8
Congratulations! you are done, clicking Finish will open your new mail account and you will begin receiving mail in your new account.
